Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how JonWard.IO LLC d/b/a JonWard Studios handles information through fastfrom.app, the Fast From iPhone and iPad app, the TestFlight beta, the beta-safety service, the beta feedback survey, and messages sent to us.
Who We Are
JonWard.IO LLC d/b/a JonWard Studios is responsible for the information described in this Policy. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@fastfrom.app.
Information Handled on Your Device
Fast From uses Apple Family Controls, Device Activity, Managed Settings, notifications, and related Apple frameworks. Apple supplies opaque selection tokens for the apps, categories, and web domains chosen through the system picker. Fast From uses those tokens to apply the timed restrictions selected by the user.
The Fast From app container may hold:
- opaque selection tokens for active fasts, unresolved completions, and recurring schedules;
- start and end times, duration, selected-item count, recurring weekdays, completion outcome, extension status, and handled occurrence identifiers;
- an optional reason of up to 160 characters and an optional completion reflection;
- up to 50 privacy-minimized history records, Fast Points, levels, and earned achievements;
- Screen Time and notification permission status;
- an optional random salt, one-way accountability-code hash, unsuccessful-attempt count, and cooldown time; and
- a random installation Recovery ID and a record of recovery commands already handled.
History omits selected app names and selection tokens. Accountability codes are converted to a salted one-way hash for local verification. The person who creates the code controls its disclosure to the user.
Removing Fast From deletes its app-container data according to Apple platform behavior. Device backups may preserve a copy according to the user's Apple and device-backup settings.
Website Information
When a person visits fastfrom.app, the website host and security provider receive the technical information needed to deliver and protect the pages. This may include the Internet Protocol address, request date and time, requested page or file, browser and operating-system information, referring page, response status, and security signals.
fastfrom.app is published through OpenAI Sites and delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare currently sets the strictly necessary __cf_bm cookie for bot detection and traffic security. A cf_clearance cookie may appear after a Cloudflare security challenge. The website source contains no advertising tracker or audience-measurement tracker.
The necessary-cookie notice stores a browser-local dismissal preference named fastfrom-cookie-notice-dismissed-v1. The preference records only that the visitor dismissed the notice and stays in that browser until cleared.
Google Search Console processes the site's public URLs, sitemap, and indexing status. Search engines may index public page text and links under their own terms.
TestFlight and Apple Services
Apple operates TestFlight, App Store Connect, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, Screen Time, notifications, and the system share sheet. Apple may process tester invitations, Apple account information, device and build information, installation activity, diagnostics, screenshots, and feedback under Apple's terms and privacy policy. JonWard Studios may receive information Apple makes available to the developer for beta administration, diagnostics, and tester feedback.
Achievement sharing begins when the user chooses Share. Apple presents the system share sheet, and the user selects the receiving app or person. The selected destination receives the achievement image and caption chosen for sharing.
Beta Safety Service
During the controlled beta, Fast From contacts the Fast From Beta Safety service hosted by Railway when the app opens or returns to the foreground. The ordinary request asks for the current beta availability state. A one-installation recovery request also places the random Recovery ID in the request path.
The service receives ordinary HTTPS request information and stores the current beta-enabled state, the owner message, the latest state-change time, and the latest one-time recovery command for each Recovery ID. A recovery command contains a random release token, a short message, and its creation time.
The current beta-safety request contains no app selections, app names, schedules, accountability codes, fast history, contacts, account record, or device hardware identifier.
Beta Feedback Survey
The Fast From Beta Survey is a separate Railway-hosted service. A submitted response contains a random anonymous session ID, study ID, survey version, start and completion times, the identifiers of questions presented, and the participant's answers. Optional free-text answers may contain information the participant chooses to enter.
The survey requests no name, email address, contact details, app names, account information, or device fingerprint. Railway may process ordinary HTTPS request information for service delivery and security.
Messages Sent to Us
An email or other message sent to JonWard Studios may contain the sender's name, email address, message, attachments, delivery metadata, and any other information the sender chooses to provide. We use that information to answer the message, investigate a reported problem, administer the beta, and preserve a record when needed for security, legal, or business purposes.
Purposes and Legal Bases
We process information to:
- deliver and protect fastfrom.app;
- provide the controlled Fast From beta and its recovery functions;
- administer TestFlight participation and respond to beta feedback;
- conduct the voluntary beta-experience survey and evaluate product performance;
- communicate with users and investigate technical or security reports; and
- meet applicable legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations.
Where the European Union or United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation applies, the legal basis may be performance of a contract or requested pre-contract steps, consent for a voluntary survey response or optional technology, legal obligation, and legitimate interests in website delivery, security, beta administration, product evaluation, and communication. A person may withdraw consent for future processing by contacting us where consent is the applicable basis.

Instagram receives information when a person visits the Fast From Instagram profile. Apple receives information when a person opens the TestFlight invitation. The selected email application receives information when a person uses the email link. Each destination applies its own privacy terms.
We may disclose information when law requires it, to protect a person or the service, to investigate fraud or misuse, or as part of a business transfer governed by appropriate confidentiality and data-protection duties.
JonWard Studios does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
International Processing
JonWard.IO LLC operates in the United States. The providers listed above may process information in the United States and other countries identified in their service terms. Applicable contractual safeguards and legal transfer mechanisms govern a restricted transfer where required.
Retention
- The
__cf_bmcookie expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity according to Cloudflare's published description. - Cloudflare, OpenAI Sites, Apple, Railway, and the email provider retain platform records according to their applicable terms and security needs.
- The private beta-safety volume retains current beta state and the latest command for each Recovery ID through the controlled beta. A new command replaces the prior command for that Recovery ID. The Project Owner can delete the service state by removing the private persistent volume.
- Anonymous beta-survey responses are retained while needed for beta research, product documentation, security review, and applicable legal obligations. The Project Owner controls deletion from the private survey storage.
- Messages and related records are retained for the time needed to answer the request, investigate the issue, document a decision, and meet applicable legal obligations.
- Device-local Fast From records remain under the user's device controls and the retention rules described above.
Security
Fast From uses device-local storage, Apple platform permissions, salted one-way code hashing, HTTPS service requests, random recovery identifiers and release tokens, authenticated owner actions, request-size limits, response-cache controls, and restricted private service storage for the functions described in this Policy. Every method carries residual risk, and users should protect their devices, Apple accounts, accountability codes, Recovery IDs, and email accounts.
Privacy Rights
Applicable law may give a person rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about processing, and to object to certain processing. A person may also withdraw consent for future processing where consent applies and may complain to the data-protection authority with jurisdiction over the person's location.
Send a request to support@fastfrom.app. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify the requester and locate the relevant record. Anonymous survey responses and random Recovery IDs may be impossible to connect to a person when the requester cannot identify the applicable record.
Children
Fast From is intended for general consumers who are authorized to manage the device and participate in the applicable beta. fastfrom.app and the beta survey are not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact support@fastfrom.app.
Policy Changes
We may revise this Policy when Fast From, fastfrom.app, the beta services, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the beginning identifies the current version.
